1994 Harlem Renaissance: Art of Black America Paperback Book

This is a softcover copy of Harlem Renaissance: Art of Black America, a book published in 1994 featuring 200 pages of art from the 1919-1929 period. The publication was produced in cooperation with The Studio Museum in Harlem, and explores the Black American experience through various artists, including Aaron Douglas and Palmer Hayden. The cover artwork is “Man in a Vest” (1939-1940) by the prominent artist William H. Johnson. Book is in good condition, no rips or tears. There is some minor edge and surface wear. Back cover has a crease and some sticker wear. Pages are just starting to yellow, and one page has a name written in ink on it, a previous owner I assume. Please feel free to ask any questions.
